The non-slip treads measure 6-6. 5mm in thickness, increasing at the nose to grip around the edge of the sub-steps. The 1. 6" Lip both secures the rubber tread into place & prevents' From slipping off the edge of the step. The “Diamond-Plate” steps are designed for easy DIY installation & can be used either temporarily with double-sided tape or permanently with adhesive.
